At an altitude of 1,200 metres, well-being begins with warm and sincere hospitality and reaches its peak with the sun terraces and the cosy atmosphere of our rooms.  

And since a successful holiday also includes good food, we will spoil you with selected culinary delicacies and specialities from the region - as you can see, our mountain inn Mitterberg also offers culinary delights!  

Our sun terrace, with its sensational location and unique view, is a magnet for holiday guests, day trippers, athletes and locals alike. Families love our picturesquely situated inn for the simple reason that a large playground invites all children to have fun and enjoyable entertainment. 

Our cosy and tastefully furnished rooms welcome our guests to spend a relaxed and unforgettable holiday at lofty heights. After an active day of sports in the fresh mountain air, you long for a caress for your soul and muscles - and for this purpose our in-house sauna is available to every guest!

The culinary delights of the Berggasthof Mitterberg in Zell am See include an extensive menu and perfect service. The well-known and popular sun terrace with a fantastic view and the homely and comfortable ambience in the interior additionally inspire all guests. 

From breakfast in the morning, which, depending on the weather, we prefer to serve on our sun terrace, a light snack or coffee and cake in the afternoon to the evening menu - we spoil even the most demanding palates! In addition, our kitchen team is committed to using not only the best ingredients, but also seasonal and regional products wherever possible.

On our menu you will find hearty soups, snacks for the small appetite, special children's menus, crisp salad variations, specialties from the grill and from the pan and of course tempting desserts, which are the perfect conclusion of a successful menu! A digestive schnapps is of course also served with pleasure...
